I and Wkter have decided that we're going to make our own Game Engine in C++. We hope you are looking forwards to this. Also, in other news, I will write stuff on the Blog more often than I write it there, that's because I need FTP access and access to the files if I want to write anything on the main site but on the Blog all I need to do is to log in and make a new post.

The only news I got for now is that the FAQ page have been updated, and that we still are looking for Staff for our Danmaku game! If you don't know what a Danmaku game is, then go check the FAQ page.

In this new year we will hopefully get more progress on this company, Gate Lands will still be postponed for a while. Until we have made and released a few other minigames.

This is probably the last news about Gate Lands for a while now, and news at all from the company as not much is going on...Oh wait, yes something will be going on! We are going to make a series of mini-games, under the genre of ShooTing Games (STG's), they will be pretty fun. Expect more information about it!

Our Job Opening page have also been changed a little, and ONE new position has been added (but there are FOUR spots on that position). All the other positions/jobs have been closed for now!

Yea, so guys. As I said two days ago I wanted to start up some cheap hosting here, so I did! You can go to Firestorm Hosting website to find out more about it! Currently you can only access the Firestorm Hosting site through the Index site of the main Firestorm Entertainment website! This is because I am too lazy to add it to the other pages at the moment.

The hosting will be as cheap as $4 and you're getting 15GB of space. LIMITED TIME ONLY YOU WILL GET 25GB INSTEAD!

You maybe have noticed it's been quite silent here lately, oh and that update I promised never came, sorry about that guys I just never had the time to really do anything of this! There have been many new anime's coming out and I, as the big anime fan I am, had to watch them, and I am still watching them actually but I will press in some time for Firestorm Entertainment! Heck we also got some new team members and I gonna kick Wkter a bit in the ass and whip him until he gets his ass back working, haha.

Oh and there is something new coming up now actually, something which only I an Wkter will be running currently, and no, it is not the Portable NES Project nor the LightStorm Instant Messaging program (I think I cancelled this project actually). Anyway, this new project will be located under a sub-division called Firestorm 8Bit Studios! The site for it will be located HERE!

And for the love of God, that PhPBB3 Forum is just bullshit :< We need to get some activity there soon or just shut down the whole forum since there is no need to waste server space for it at all! Oh, and I might launch a cheap hosting here but I'm not sure yet, and no, you wont have your own domain so just leave it already, there will be a sub-domain only unless you want to buy a domain from somewhere else and let me host it at my site, then it's whatever for me since you will have the FTP access to it and not me, but this is still something I am pondering about so don't expect it to be this close, and if I do make a hosting at Firestorm Entertainment I'd set the price at maybe 4 or 5 bucks a month :<

If you want to help us out with the game then why not sign up as a Staff member? It would be really hopeful if you actually knew some of the stuff you are signing up for too of course! Or else you wouldn't be needed here. You might have noticed I've switched from a formal tone when writing to a more harsh/weird one, well I thought, why keep this some formal standard company and not add some humor and smartass stuff in it? So I did, no worries about our Staff members being some formal people who wouldn't use a single bad word, I could care less what they do at the moment as long as they don't screw it all up, haha! So, I bet you guys wonder how the game or any of our other projects are going, well, I am going to give you some information right now. Portable NES Project - ON-HOLD! Yes, it really is, well, at least I think it is, Wkter is working on it sometimes but not always so I'll just say it is on-hold until he gives me some more information. Next up will be LightStorm Instant Messenger Project - CANCELLED. Yea I figured out this would be just some crap anyway, we don't have anyone who can really host a server for us anyway. Firestorm 8Bit Studios - MEEP! This means this is still not started up actually, it will be started later on by me and Wkter as told earlier. Gate Lands - PLANNING/DEVELOPMENT PHASE! Gate Lands is our main project so of course we will continue with this!

I have also removed some of the menu links which were never in use, this includes; GateLands Portal and the Chat link. Everything Gate Lands related will be set on our upcoming site which are under development by our webdesigner DreamLife.

Ok, so this was a pretty big one this time, heck I haven't written this much since my essay at school, haha.

Some new pages will be added later on, and I will soon update the FAQ page and set up a vBulletin forum instead of that old and boring PhPBBv3 Forum. Look forwards to it, oh and please help us with our hosting bill, there is a button on each page you can click to donate towards our webhosting bill to keep this website up, and all other sites which is a part of Firestorm Entertainment, this also means Anime Firestorm.

Also, sorry for the lack of news throughout August, but there was nothing special to talk about then. We will keep most game related news hidden until later on, so you will have something to chew on and wonder what will be in the game.

I kinda screwed up something in the FTP so the Firestorm Entertainment Wiki is now down, clicking the Wiki thing at the menu will only lead to nolink.html, also as you can see there have been a few changes to the website!

Thundgot has changed his name to Shashika, he will still stand as the Firestorm Entertainment Chief Executive Officer, his new contact E-Mail is shashika@fsgatelands.com. Also, we still got several positions open for volunteers who wants to help out with the game, so go on and send in an application! We need YOU!

Two news spots have been opened at the Job Openings page, please check it out, maybe you are the one we are looking for! We will keep adding job positions as we need them, so if you can't find something you are good at right now you can just wait, maybe we will end up adding something you know how to do!

Remember that all position in Firestorm Entertainment and our Project Teams are volunteer work, at least until the company moves from non-profit to a profit company, but not even I know when that will happen.

I would love if you took some time looking through our Job Openings page, we actually need different team members for different jobs and we really hope we can get some professional ones, we also try to get in contact with gaming companies like Funcom, EA Games and maybe even Blizzard Entertainment.

Welcome to the Firestorm Entertainment website, we are glad to announce that this website will be main for our company while we will make a sub-website for our Gate Lands Project, but until the game is released this will be where you can find information, of course you should visit our forums too. Of course since this website is currently just made with a website program it will be improved, as soon as I find someone who can help me develop a real HTML/CSS/PhP website.
