Woah, I haven’t posted in a while now, well, at least not since two days before my birthday. I’m not gonna talk so much about that, well, except maybe saying what I got for my birthday, I got cash, two books with How To Draw Manga and three small cute figurines from my aunt. Pretty much it actually since I mostly wanted money and something anime related. Since my last entry I have also gotten myself a new computer and started playing Aion!

So yea, my old computer was starting to piss me off because of it being slow and old, it was also a bit slow at running Aion and I couldn’t run it on full graphics to look how beautiful they are, so what did I do? Well, instead of upgrading the old one I bought a new one, I bought it in parts even though my first plan was to buy a premade one so I didn’t have to build it myself, it was actually fun putting together the computer myself so now I got one with these specifications: AMD Phenom-II 545 X2 3.0GHz Dual-Core, 4GB DDR4 1333MHz RAM, Sapphire Radeon 4850 512MB GDDR3 RAM. I also got myself a new motherboard, an ASUS one instead of the old nVidia chipset I had before. This one can run Aion on full graphics but I do have a heating problem with my GPU because my case was a piece of ass so I need to buy a new one later on. Looks like a fucking mess inside of the case though.

Last week I was at PolarParty, it’s not the biggest but it’s one of the bigger LAN parties in Norway, it was named PolarParty 18 Tjuvraddar and I applied there as crew, which I was accepted at and put into the Security crew (apparently they lacked people for this) even though it said you had to be 18 years of age to become Security, it was fun being there but I went home a bit earlier because I was getting more sick than I originally was before I went there x.x I grabbed a couple of new games, anime and movies while I was there from the DC-hub though and met new people, some annoying people but also lots of fun people to talk with :3

Oh, and I updated the Shop area of my blog so if you want something then please take a look there, I’ll keep updating it from time to time when I got more stuff I want to get rid off. As said so did I start playing Aion and I am having fun there, soon I am level 24 (currently 23 while writing this entry) and that means one level closer till I can start kicking Asmodian ass in the Abyss! Oh well, nothing else to talk about currently so I’ll just cut this entry short…

…oh wait, almost forgot to say, I am going to Desucon which is in about 11 days now, I’ll be a part of the Security crew there too (man, lots of Security stuff for me these days), and about the cosplay, well, I don’t want to cosplay when I am Security, nor should I cosplay when I am Security, so I wont be able to wear the Yuyuko cosplay at the convention this time, the cosplay was too small anyway and looks shit on me so I’d rather not wear it.

Alright, so finally I got off my ass and ordered the Yuyuko cosplay which I have been talking about for a while, the only reason I am doing this is because I lost a bet with another member at Japani. Oh well, at least I get something else to cosplay instead of Inuyasha like I did last year, even though people said the cosplay was good I heard about it a long while later, hehe. The main point here is that the costume and wig has been ordered, it was $33 for the wig ($5 discount :3) and $119.95 for the costume itself, that included free express shipping and it’s being custom made to fit me, so hopefully I didn’t fuck up my measurements like I did when I was measuring myself for that hakama a year ago <.<

Desucon is coming closer and closer but before Desucon there’ll be something else I will be attending, this is a LAN party called PolarParty which will be held in Stokke during the fall vacation, 5 days of non-stop gaming, nerding and talking with other people interested in the same thing, of course, I wont be just doing that since I joined the crew there and I got appointed to Security, that’s alright enough and it’ll be interesting to see how a bigger LAN party is, I have never been to the biggest one in Norway though. (The Gathering).

I was in Oslo last Saturday and checked out what they had at NeoTokyo and at Outland, they got the Reimu and Marisa PVC figurines at NeoTokyo but they were so expensive T_T I wanted to buy them but I’d need to save up about $183 before I can do so, and since I asked if they could be shipped to me I must pay more for the shipping, hehe, but hell I am gonna save up enough and at least buy the Reimu one! I also met up with Emphy in Oslo and he was sleeping over here at my place from Saturday to Sunday before he went back home with the boat from Horten to Moss. While I was there in Oslo I also bought two figurines at Outland because they were cheap, Hatsune Miku from the VOCALOID series and Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Ok, so all of you Command & Conquer fans out there knows that there will be coming a new game in the Tiberium series, that’s right, I also posted about it earlier but that was just when it had gotten announced and no trailer…etc was out yet. So Command & Conquer 4 <Add Subtitle Here> will be the last game of the Tiberium series according to Electronic Arts Los Angeles and will wrap up everything about Tiberium and about Kane, the story people have been so eager to hear since the game was released in 1995. Too bad the original creators Westwood Studios didn’t continue the story instead as they seemed to have quite some ideas for it but EA fucked it up and created their own shit when they took over the series. There have been many speculations around C&C4 and while some of them were just absurd and not true at all then there were those speculations which were true.

The true speculations where; There will be absolutely no base-building in the game, that’s right, they removed the best part of a C&C game which have been a part of the series since the first fucking game ever released, the only two games which did not have base-building was Sole Survivor and C&C Renegade (FPS game). They will also remove Tiberium harvesting and instead introduce these capureable structures where you will get resources from the underground, kinda like the Tiberium Spikes in C&C3 and Kane’s Wrath. What does this mean? Well, they apparently will focus on attacks more than base-building considering they removed it, you will have to build your units through an unit called the Crawler, there will be different types of Crawlers too according to EA; Offensive Crawler, Defensive Crawler & Engineer Crawler. While I am all in for new ideas I think they should reconsider about removing base-building, at least make something in the Options on Skirmish and Multiplayer that people can choose between Crawlers and base-building.

Right, so the official announcement trailer for C&C4 came out the 24th of July (which is a while ago now) and it was quite awesome, we see this extreme Tiberium infested area (Manchester, United Kingdom) in 2062 while a GDI Orca Transport and two Orca’s are flying towards the GDI HeadQuarters, the person inside the Transport is Kane himself who for a proposition for GDI followed by taking out the Tacitus, that’s right, the Tacitus from Tiberan Sun is back, it was also featured in Kane’s Wrath but back then it was highly unstable due to GDI research (last mission on the campaign).

Oh yea, before I forget about it, you will be required to have a 24/7 Internet connection to play Command & Conquer 4, while EA says there will be no DRM protection on the game they have done this sneakily by having this, they say it’s because you must be connected to their servers to update your stats…etc but in reality this is just a secret DRM protection, in other words; Fucking liars.

But yea, that’s enough about Command & Conquer 4, I think I’ve covered the most important stuff here now so lets move on. Though, in conclusion, I think the game just went down to SHIT.

So as you know I ordered some figurines from HobbyLink Japan earlier, well, they arrived two days ago and they were nice, except the Revoltech Fraulein Rin Tohsaka one which just sucked monkey fucking dick because of epic poor quality not even worth talking about, I ended up just putting it back in the box and throw it on the top of my shelf so I don’t have to see it again, the other two were better quality and were cute to look at, these being; Rika Furude & Parfait. I still got the Hanyuu figurine on pre-order and I was thinking about buying another Rika Furude one which is kinda like the Hanyuu one, I wont be able to pre-order it before September 1st though so I gotta wait a bit. This Rika Furude one costs 1450 Yen so it isn’t the worst price for it, it still falls long under the tariff limit here in Norway so that I am happy about.

Also, when it comes to my Yuyuko cosplay I have it covered some, I have figured out how to use money on the cosplay while I still have enough to try and buy my laptop which I want to get, I seriously need a new one for school use so that would be really helpful, hehe. I found a wig for my Yuyuko cosplay now which is $38 but the seller allows “Offers” so I gonna try and put $30 as an offer as that puts it under the tariff limit.

So as I said in my last entry I would start watching some anime again, which I have and currently I am liking the new series I have started watching; Kanamemo & Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Seriously, Umineko is awesome and Kanamemo is just humorous to watch because of its weird storyline and random shit going on all the time, and the characters are quite moe so that adds to the fun factor. Umineko is kinda like Higurashi just worse and I am enjoying it even if it fucks around with my mind all the time, heh.

So shit, yea, this was another long entry when I thought it would be shorter but hell, can’t blame me for enjoying to write on my blog once in a while and make it a long entry, haha.

I don’t make entries that often as you have noticed and that’s because I am not a regular blogger like many people are, though as you have noticed I do make quite some long entries when I first post something, well, okay, they aren’t epicly long but at least they are long enough to cover whatever I am talking about in my entries, however, this entry is just for general stuff and such which is going on, especially since school is soon starting up again and I am gonna start up my second year in High School in Media & Communication.

So yea, at school we got something called PTF, which is basically a project where we can choose whatever we want and dig deeper into learning it, at the end of the year we show this project to the class or to our teachers only, depends on if you want to stand in front of the class and talk or not, not everyone likes to do that, hehe. So yea, if I gonna do PTF this year I have decided that I want to try do something like the Angry Video Game Nerd, you know, sitting around in my room playing games and bitching like fuck about how much they suck and talk so much crap about them as I want, however so is this just a thought as I might end up working somewhere instead instead of PTF, this is what we in Norwegian call “utplassering”, this means through the school you get placed out at some job and work there, the place which ‘hires’ you will tell your teacher how you do and all that, at the end of the year I think you get a grade like with PTF.

Alright, so if you remember two entries ago I revealed what cosplay I thought about using for Desucon 4, and as I said then I was thinking of doing Yuyuko from the Touhou Project series, this cosplay is quite expensive though so I have to save up money, even though I could just use my scholarship money 0n it since it isn’t anything else special I have to spend it on, well, except a new laptop which I want to buy, and this laptop cost 6999,- Norwegian Kroner, it’s a cool HP laptop which will work perfectly for my school stuff, though I can just use my old laptop until I’ve saved up enough money for the new one. My birthday is the 8th of September so I most likely get some more money then, which is good, hehe.

When I go back to school I gonna work harder so my teacher might agree on allowing me to print out posters and such for a smaller fee using the awesome printer we have at our school, I want to have some custom made wallposters I can hand up on my wall, or maybe sell them to someone else who really wants them as I know some people are just crazy after getting posters, and hey, Touhou Project posters is quite hard to find so this might be like a good business.

Comiket 76 (C76) is coming up and that means there will be a lot new stuff coming out, I myself have the sight of a Touhou Project Reimu Nendoroid which will cost about 3000 Yen according to sources, I have talked to some people I know and they said they will try and get it for me, C76 is also when Touhou 12: Undefined Fantastic Object will be released to the public, currently there is a beta out which can be downloaded from ZUN’s website, I have also talked about getting that and I hope that the people I know is able to ship it over to me, though it will be shipped through a friend in the UK first due to reasons.

I have also started watching some anime again and even reading manga on OneManga, I have yet to finish a couple of anime I started on earlier this year though; ToraDora!, To LoveRu and Tears to Tiara are among them, I am also thinking about starting to watch Kannagi and I also have to finish Potemayo actually. New series I am going to watch and am on the way to finishing is the following; Spice & Wolf II, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei, Utawarerumono OVA and maybe Shuffle! and Shuffle! Memories. I am also waiting for a special live action movie to be made available on DVD, yes, I am talking about Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Chikai which is the second live action movie made for the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series, I actually made a small review entry about it when I first started this blog. The manga I am currently reading is; Rurouni Kenshin, Chibi Vampire and the K-ON! 4koma.

Oh yeah, the Desucon 4 dates have been announced, it will be held on the 17th and 18th of October, which means there is still time to get my cosplay, at least two and a half month time, hehe. Applied for Info crew again like I did for Soracon, was quite a fun and interesting crew to be a part of to be honest.

Well, this was all I had for this time, and as you can see this entry was a bit nicer than my last one, you know, the rant I made about how much Equality Now sucks and how they are a bunch of whores, anyway, haha. Wow, this entry ended up longer than I expected,  I thought it would be shorter but as I said in the beginning, when I first start writing a blog entry it ends up quite long in the end.

Ok, so I am an everyday lurker on the Sankaku Complex site and like to check out what news they have for us, recently I posted about how Equality Now managed to get rapelay games taken away from the Japanese rating system, and how some companies have blocked foreigners access because they blame US for the fucking FAGGOTRY the Equality Now group does. Oh well, so today I came over another news article on Sankaku with the title “Equality Now Demands UN Hentai Ban”, my first thought was, “What in the FUCKING HELL are they wanting to fuck with now?”. So I checked it out and got myself on fucking surprise, this shit was true, the fucktards at Equality Now sent a letter to the UN where they requested them to ban ALL sorts of hentai and EROGE because it leads to rape, in a plus they say that the Japanese judges just gives people a slap on the wrist for rape if the woman didn’t fight against it, well you fucking shitheads, if it’s rape then of course the woman would fight AGAINST IT! IT IS NOT FUCKING RAPE IF SHE DOES NOT FIGHT AGAINST RAPE! God dammit how fucking retarded can they be?

While I am all in for women having the same rights as men, and then I mean, sure, you should be allowed to vote and work like men, and get the same pay as us if able to do the same work as us, but what those fucking retards at Equality Now do, well, they want to control the fucking world because they think WOMEN should be HIGHER UP than MEN, is that “EQUALITY NOW”!? That does not sound like fucking equality to me, sounds more like Adolf Hitler’s daughter trying to take over the world by using women instead of pillaging and raping like Hitler did during World War II. So yea, I decided to buy some new figurines, but this time I decided not to buy them from an American store or from eBay (Chinese people). I actually bought them from the Japanese shop called HobbyLink Japan. Their prices aren’t too bad actually and can range from ¥400 to ¥100,000 in what stuff might cost, though figurines never costs more than about ¥20,000 anyway (Limited Edition stuff). So to pull it off I ordered 4 figurines, well, 3 figurines and one figma which I can move around and make pose.

However, I bought them in separate orders to not exceed ¥3000, this is because I fucking HATE the import taxes in this country, it’s the most corrupt and nazi shit I have ever been close to, and you can be damn sure I do not wanna pay a million in fucking taxes to import some figurines which I gonna keep myself and put for display in my room. Now, don’t get any weird thoughts now you sick bastards, I only got them for display, and maybe I sell them later when I want something new, nothing else than that.

Oh, and I have been thinking about my cosplay for Desucon 4, and I think I have decided what to use. I am going to crossplay as Yuyuko from the Touhou Project series, gonna be interesting to see how well that goes, and it should go well since the cosplay is going to cost me a friggin’ 115 bucks in the end, the shipping is free though so that’s a plus, I think, but I still have to buy the wig too though so that might be another 30-40 dollars for the cosplay, so in the total I think I am going to use about $180 on this cosplay, and this brings deja vu, because I used about $180 for my Inuyasha cosplay too, haha.

So yea I was gone the whole Sunday due to one big anf awesome thing called Soracon, this is the smaller anime convention being held in Norway, though it weren’t as small this time because the amount of people we estimated coming tripled D:

So yea, lets go from the beginning to the end, I will skip the smaller and less interesting parts because they will most likely bore the crap out of you and we don’t want to do that, do we? Good, then lets get going with how I spent my day at Soracon and how fun it was, oh, did I tell you I joined in as Crew?

I was supposed to take the 7:18 AM bus to Oslo but I found out one funny thing that Sunday, there is no friggin’ 7:18 AM bus at all as the earliest one went 10:18 AM, so I had to sit at home waiting for it a bit, sad thing is that I had volunteered to sit at the ticket desk at 9 AM but I had to get someone else to do it instead since I was unavailable to come, so yea. I took the 10:18 AM bus and arrived in Oslo at around 11:40, then I started walking up towards Oslo Congress Center, it was a 7 minute walk max and I had a map on my iPod Touch in case so I wouldn’t get lost during the walk, I registered myself at the desk so they knew I was crew and then entered the Congress Center. I had a small chat with my chief about taking up my position at the ticket desk because I arrived and so I did, I was sitting there till about 1:30 PM I think before I changed with someone else, at 2 PM I sat down at the Info-Desk because that was where I had to go then.

It’s always fun to be a part of the Information crew and not have any information yourself, except the stuff you have seen and checked out for yourself, so there were questions I had no idea about, though it actually went quite fine the hour I was sitting there, I had a screw-around hour from 3 PM to 4 PM where I ate and did some other stuff, though I did keep helping during my break too. At 4 PM or so we heard something about a water leak (I was back at Info-Desk then) and I had no idea, though we ended up chasing everyone out of the locals because of this so called water leak of about three drops, hahaha. During this I ended up getting the Guard duty and counted the people walking out of one of the rooms, I think that lasted for 40 minutes or so before someone else took over for me and my group partner. After that I went back to Info-Desk and helped around there.

I didn’t have that much to do later in the day and that was actually my free time of some sort so me an Cyazu went around and hugged the people with Free Hugs signs, we also looked at the ending of the Cosplay contest, Pyramid Head got 2nd place and Skull Kids got 1st place, quite good cosplays actually, there were a Jack Sparrow there at the convention too and he managed the role and costume epicly, it was the same guy who was The Emperor during Desucon 3. Though it got a bit hot so we ended up going back inside of the Congress Center, I ended up messing around with some of the guys at Savegame.no and did that for half an hour or so, apparently my crew chief had been looking for me and a guard told me so, I got told to sit by the ticket desk a bit until p33r, one of the organizers, came over and took the box of money…etc and told me to close the ticket stand, this was near the ending of Soracon which was why of course.

After Soracon we had Soracon-Disco where ilifin was the DJ, hey, the music was quite good but I was mostly in the main area together with Cyazu, lucky bastard bought a box full of manga for 150,- Norwegian Kroner, nice deal even though most likely most of the manga in the box is complete shit, hehe.

I left at 21:10 or so together with Cyazu, my bus came at 22:00 so I had a nice half hour waiting time before I could go home, and well, I was home at about 23:40 and sat up till about 1 AM before going to bed, and damn straight I was exhausted, and of cours dehydrated since it was hot as hell in in the Congress Center, I was drinking enough water though so no passing out.

Let me make a short summary of the most fun stuff;

We went out of coins at the ticket desk and had quite some troubles in the beginning, and the shops denied to change it and the banks were closed. I met some old friends and also met new ones during the convention. I had fun, this most likely summaries it. I am now looking forwards for Desucon 4 sometime this Fall!

Oh, and sorry guys, I forgot to take pictures nor did I have any time to do it actually as I was focused on doing my Crew work first then forgot about it later, thought other people have taken pictures so have a look through the Japani forum and you might find something cool, I gotta say, there were plenty of awesome cosplayers around there and amazingly good and in-characters ones too!

Ok, so now that I am a poor little bitch with less to no money left in my wallet (except some bucks in my bank) I’ll have to throw in the towel and not buy any figurines or merchandise for a while, I need to find myself a job or something because that would help a lot, hehe.

But first I wanna show of the figurines I bought before I went out of money, I posted about the Reimu mini-figurine earlier but I also ordered 4 Lucky Star ones which I actually just ordered to sell in Norway. Oh yea, and lets not forget about the cute Kuro-Chan figurine from the anime Kodomo no Jikan.

Though, I also figured, since I want to learn Japanese, why not make it a bit harder for myself and force myself into learning ? So when I uninstalled the Windows 7 Beta to install the RC I decided to install the Japanese version of Windows 7 RC, followed by installing Windows Live, Skype and STEAM in Japanese (which also makes all games downloaded and installed from STEAM Japanese too o.o). Just booting up ma system to some awesome Japanese kanji, hiragana and katakana eh?

Well, if you know what Touhou is then you might get the “~Please Donate T_T~” thing, it’s not me asking you to donate to AnimeAlliance (even though it would be nice) but no, it’s just because Reimu never gets donations at her shrine and this chibi figurine is a perfect example of Reimu sitting there with her donation box, she got two faces, one where she smiles and the other one is of her crying because of the lack of donations. Heck, there are almost none visiting her shrine except other youkai and weird people who lives in Gensokyo.

So, today I bought myself this cute Touhou Project Chibi Reimu Figurine from ToyLet.Net Collectibles. I did that because I am a Touhou fan and when I get the chance to buy awesome merchandise I don’t wanna miss it, especially since Larry is such a nice guy and held one off for me, cheers to you! The price was $34,99 and the shipping was quite less than I expected, I was thinking it would be something along of $24 because it’s a figurine and not something which can be sent flat in a small package, but nah, the shipping wasn’t more than $13,95.

I am trying to figure out what cosplay to wear at Desucon 4 which will be held here in Norway sometime during Fall. I was going to try and do Hanyuu but the top part of my Hanyuu cosplay weren’t fitting me so I can’t really do it, I was going Inuyasha cosplay at Desucon 3 so I wont do that again, hehe.

I was going to do Rinnosuke cosplay from Touhou but I found out the cosplay costed around $115 which is bad considering I need to pay tariff/taxes if it exceeds $30 so I have to try something else or find a costume maker which allows to trick with the price and mark the package as a gift so I don’t need to pay the epic taxes of 25% MVA + 17% Tariff.

I can’t really make my own costume due to my lack of abilities with sewing and stuff like that, nor do I really have the time to make it as I have lots of other things to do too which is quite more important than making a cosplay, hehe. So, I want to hear what you have to say about this and if you have any idea of a character I should cosplay and maybe link me to a seller at eBay or somewhere else who allows to cheat a little with the tariff…etc. I also had Mokou from Touhou in mind so I might be doing that, but first I must check if the seller I bought the Hanyuu cosplay from is able to make the Mokou one.

Ok, so I talked with the seller I bought the Hanyuu costume from and asked how much it would cost me for the Mokou costume, it would be $85.99 (shipping included) and currently that’s a bit much, so i think I’ll need to find something cheaper or just buy cat ears and wear those, hehe.
