MikuMusic Forums/Services Shutting Down (For now)
by Shashi on May.25, 2009, under AnimeAlliance, MikuMusic
We’re shutting down the forums at MikuMusic for good now, the website might be moved over to another host since DreamHost decided to kill our music service for now. All services provided by MikuMusic is temp shut down, except the radio!
We’re moving the forums and everything over to AnimeAlliance.eu and will start up our company from there, AnimeAlliance has now been registered in Norway by Bakagringo and we’re ready to kick this off, if you want to join our team you can apply for one of these really needed positions.
Translators & Programmers are needed for our project which will be our main business project at AnimeAlliance, that’s correct, we gonna sub anime and distribute it legally in Norway and Europe, kinda like a competition to the American companies but we’ll do it all through online services.
Check our Positions Page to read more about the positions, and to check other positions we got.
AnimeAlliance Positions & Other Stuff
by Shashi on May.14, 2009, under AnimeAlliance, MikuMusic, MikuSubs
Ok, so during the day I have been updating the Positions page under AnimeAlliance, while on that note I’ve always ’suht down’ the Positions page under MikuSubs since MikuSubs is a part of the AnimeAlliance! Anyway, there have been opened a few new positions other than the ones which were there before and that’s these: You can read more here!!!
Programmer - You will help program the service which we will distribute our anime
Forum Staff - You will be an important part of keeping our community safe and spam free
Reviewer - If you love anime and want to share your knowledge you should consider reviewing for us
Translator - You will be quite an important part of the AnimeAlliance as you will be subbing the anime we distribute after receiving our raws!
Raw Provider - You will be the person who provides the Translators and subbing team with fresh anime from Japan, however, this position might be removed if we through licensing agreements and contracts can get the Japanese publishers to send us the raws instead.
All of these positions are important for the AnimeAlliance and more positions will be opening up as soon as we need them but currently we only need these, in the future we might opening applications for graphic designers and coders who can make us special plug-ins for our forum and skins for our website, forum and blog (this one) but currently we don’t need that.
Also, for you to get to know us a little better I will now tell you who the ‘leaders’ of AnimeAlliance are and what their position is, of course they’re not all these to make important decisions though.
Bakagringo - Company Owner
Shashi - Community Manager & Public Relations
Carbon – Subbing Team Leader
?????? – Development Team Leader (Wanna apply for this? Send an email to bakagringo@mikumusic.net)
Renma/UnOwenWasHer? – Graphic Team Leader (Not a part of the Administration though)
Hopefully this blog entry helped you understand more about the AnimeAlliance, if not feel free to discuss it in our forums on the dedicated thread for this blog entry, we accept all sorts of input even though it’s a complete smack on the ass, however, insulting directly will not be tolerated as it would be breaking our Forum Rules.

We support PirateBay, do you?
by Shashi on Apr.25, 2009, under MikuMusic, Movies, Other
Yes, we support PirateBay, now, who are we? Well, we are MikuMusic.net and the administration and staff on the site! Alongside many of the members! We support the cause of PirateBay and what they do, they bring culture to all of us! The Recording Industries bitches about loosing money for filesharing, they haven’t lost a cent since filesharing started, actually, they sell MORE now!
Do you support PirateBay’s cause? If so then prove it!
If you live in Europe then vote for the EU parliament elections in June…
Keep sharing torrents! Seed more and harder!
Keep torrenting like that pirate you are :3
WE SUPPORT THE PIRATE BAY AND FILESHARING THROUGH TORRENTS! SHOW THE RECORDING INDUSTRIES HOW WRONG THEY ARE!
New Features, Help Us Out
by Shashi on Apr.23, 2009, under MikuMusic, Other
Well, as we’re closing in on the new vBulletin board for MikuMusic what new features do you think we should add? I’ve already made a post on the forum where I have written down all changes and such which will be done after installing vBulletin, but I don’t want it to be only us who are deciding what to add/change…etc on the forum, so bring your own suggestions and ideas!
We currently have $156.07 out of the $180 we need for vBulletin so we’re getting quite close to upgrading our forums, after installing vBulletin we will also install some modifications and plug-ins which can make the forum experience lots better than what it is right now when we’re using phpBB3, mostly because phpBB3 got a bitch system to add modifications and plug-ins to the forum to make it better.
So again, bring you suggestions!
