Oh wait what? It is? Holy god damn son of a bitch it sure well is! Hehe, yea, ignore that because I’m not that excited actually because I know it’ll just be another typical birthday with presents, some cake and family coming over for visit like all the other years, except the point that I don’t have any birthday parties anymore because I am too old for that now, we say, maybe invite a friend or two over and talk or some shit like that but nothing else, really.

What I wish for my birthday? More or less I just hope I get money, I don’t really need anything else and it’s better to get money so you can choose yourself what you want to buy instead of maybe getting something you don’t really want or need, of course I don’t mind if someone in the family gets me some clothes or such because I need some new clothes now anyway. I do think my aunt is getting me something anime related though, merchandise maybe, not sure.

Anyway, yea, the date is the 8th of September so only 4 days left. There weren’t really anything else I was gonna write in this blog entry so it wont be a “OH FUCK THIS TOO LONG; DON’T READ (TL;DR)”.

This post is gonna be a short one as I don’t have much to talk about, just wanted to advertise the guys who are currently playing games for Child’s Play Charity, a charity where the main purpose is to buy game consoles and games for hospitals where there are children (most of them) so they can have something entertaining to do while while they are there. I have been watching them almost the whole time they have been going on and they are nice people, they chat with you in both the chat and via the microphone on their stream. Their stream can be an ass at times but they fix it fast, can’t blame them for having an old laptop and running Internet Explorer, haha.

They will be playing through all of the 3D Zelda games and the 3D Mario games and according to them they will try to play through some other games too, they might also be taking requests if they manage to beat all of the games within the time limit as they set to 100 hours, if they get lots of donations they might even play for longer than that. They have beaten Ocarina of Time now and are currently working on Majora’s Mask at the time this blog entry is written.

Ok, so I am an everyday lurker on the Sankaku Complex site and like to check out what news they have for us, recently I posted about how Equality Now managed to get rapelay games taken away from the Japanese rating system, and how some companies have blocked foreigners access because they blame US for the fucking FAGGOTRY the Equality Now group does. Oh well, so today I came over another news article on Sankaku with the title “Equality Now Demands UN Hentai Ban”, my first thought was, “What in the FUCKING HELL are they wanting to fuck with now?”. So I checked it out and got myself on fucking surprise, this shit was true, the fucktards at Equality Now sent a letter to the UN where they requested them to ban ALL sorts of hentai and EROGE because it leads to rape, in a plus they say that the Japanese judges just gives people a slap on the wrist for rape if the woman didn’t fight against it, well you fucking shitheads, if it’s rape then of course the woman would fight AGAINST IT! IT IS NOT FUCKING RAPE IF SHE DOES NOT FIGHT AGAINST RAPE! God dammit how fucking retarded can they be?

While I am all in for women having the same rights as men, and then I mean, sure, you should be allowed to vote and work like men, and get the same pay as us if able to do the same work as us, but what those fucking retards at Equality Now do, well, they want to control the fucking world because they think WOMEN should be HIGHER UP than MEN, is that “EQUALITY NOW”!? That does not sound like fucking equality to me, sounds more like Adolf Hitler’s daughter trying to take over the world by using women instead of pillaging and raping like Hitler did during World War II. Ok, so as said, women can have the same rights as us men, but feminazis, well, YOU CAN GET THE FUCK BACK IN THE KITCHEN AND FUCKING STAY THERE! Also, in a way, so is hentai games a form of art, considering artists actually have to draw these girls, it’s actually a carriere where people can earn money, what the Equality Now group does is to try and ban this sort of games so the artists who works at companies making these games will get fired, oh yes, this will help on the financial crisis too I bet? I don’t think it would help shit at all actually! These artists earn a honest salary and improve their art skills by drawing hentai, sure, it ain’t the most fucking work safe shit on the Earth but for fucks sake, I wonder if any of the Equality Now vaginatards have ever been on the internet, you find worse shit there than the hentai!

Another point here is, Japan makes lots of weird porn, these actually depict REAL rape on REAL humans, I haven’t seen the feminazis try to do anything against them! Now why the FUCK do they attack DRAWN ANIME PORN and wont even talk about the REAL IDOLS and MODELS who get raped by whatever the fuck the producers wants to stick into their vagina or rub along their tits, or maybe stick in their mouths I don’t really give a shit. For the love of god I have seen Japanese porn which is worse than the hentai games, and in hentai games no real persons will get a loose vagina because someone tried to shove a fucking MELON into it!

So yea I was gone the whole Sunday due to one big anf awesome thing called Soracon, this is the smaller anime convention being held in Norway, though it weren’t as small this time because the amount of people we estimated coming tripled D:

So yea, lets go from the beginning to the end, I will skip the smaller and less interesting parts because they will most likely bore the crap out of you and we don’t want to do that, do we? Good, then lets get going with how I spent my day at Soracon and how fun it was, oh, did I tell you I joined in as Crew?

I was supposed to take the 7:18 AM bus to Oslo but I found out one funny thing that Sunday, there is no friggin’ 7:18 AM bus at all as the earliest one went 10:18 AM, so I had to sit at home waiting for it a bit, sad thing is that I had volunteered to sit at the ticket desk at 9 AM but I had to get someone else to do it instead since I was unavailable to come, so yea. I took the 10:18 AM bus and arrived in Oslo at around 11:40, then I started walking up towards Oslo Congress Center, it was a 7 minute walk max and I had a map on my iPod Touch in case so I wouldn’t get lost during the walk, I registered myself at the desk so they knew I was crew and then entered the Congress Center. I had a small chat with my chief about taking up my position at the ticket desk because I arrived and so I did, I was sitting there till about 1:30 PM I think before I changed with someone else, at 2 PM I sat down at the Info-Desk because that was where I had to go then.

It’s always fun to be a part of the Information crew and not have any information yourself, except the stuff you have seen and checked out for yourself, so there were questions I had no idea about, though it actually went quite fine the hour I was sitting there, I had a screw-around hour from 3 PM to 4 PM where I ate and did some other stuff, though I did keep helping during my break too. At 4 PM or so we heard something about a water leak (I was back at Info-Desk then) and I had no idea, though we ended up chasing everyone out of the locals because of this so called water leak of about three drops, hahaha. During this I ended up getting the Guard duty and counted the people walking out of one of the rooms, I think that lasted for 40 minutes or so before someone else took over for me and my group partner. After that I went back to Info-Desk and helped around there.

I didn’t have that much to do later in the day and that was actually my free time of some sort so me an Cyazu went around and hugged the people with Free Hugs signs, we also looked at the ending of the Cosplay contest, Pyramid Head got 2nd place and Skull Kids got 1st place, quite good cosplays actually, there were a Jack Sparrow there at the convention too and he managed the role and costume epicly, it was the same guy who was The Emperor during Desucon 3. Though it got a bit hot so we ended up going back inside of the Congress Center, I ended up messing around with some of the guys at Savegame.no and did that for half an hour or so, apparently my crew chief had been looking for me and a guard told me so, I got told to sit by the ticket desk a bit until p33r, one of the organizers, came over and took the box of money…etc and told me to close the ticket stand, this was near the ending of Soracon which was why of course.

After Soracon we had Soracon-Disco where ilifin was the DJ, hey, the music was quite good but I was mostly in the main area together with Cyazu, lucky bastard bought a box full of manga for 150,- Norwegian Kroner, nice deal even though most likely most of the manga in the box is complete shit, hehe.

I left at 21:10 or so together with Cyazu, my bus came at 22:00 so I had a nice half hour waiting time before I could go home, and well, I was home at about 23:40 and sat up till about 1 AM before going to bed, and damn straight I was exhausted, and of cours dehydrated since it was hot as hell in in the Congress Center, I was drinking enough water though so no passing out.

Let me make a short summary of the most fun stuff;

We went out of coins at the ticket desk and had quite some troubles in the beginning, and the shops denied to change it and the banks were closed. I met some old friends and also met new ones during the convention. I had fun, this most likely summaries it. I am now looking forwards for Desucon 4 sometime this Fall!

Oh, and sorry guys, I forgot to take pictures nor did I have any time to do it actually as I was focused on doing my Crew work first then forgot about it later, thought other people have taken pictures so have a look through the Japani forum and you might find something cool, I gotta say, there were plenty of awesome cosplayers around there and amazingly good and in-characters ones too!

Okay, so I have been watching most of the live streams from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) during the press conference, it started out with Microsoft and I gotta say, they had interesting stuff on their table now, I didn’t care much about the games though because they didn’t seem to have too much new there, except that they announced a release date (ok, maybe not date but time) for Final Fantasy XIII for the 360, which is Spring 2010 for North America And Europe. Together with that they showed a project they’ve been working on for a while which makes todays console controllers useless, motion sensor controller, in other words, you use your own body as the controller without the need of having anything in your hands. In my opinion so did this look like quit an awesome thing for the 360 and would love to buy it when it’s out, Lionhead made an AI and program where they tested it and it seemed to work fine, the sensor can even scan your items from real life into the game. Oh and yea, Koijima took a little visit on the Microsoft scene and THAT surprised, they’ve now announced a new Metal Gear Solid for the XBox 360. Microsoft is also launching last.fm radio, facebook and twitter access on their console so you can do social stuff while sitting in your living room without a computer to do it on, they are also starting to release FULL HD (1080p) movies through their movie service, and they have now doubled…No wait, trippled the amount of countries part of this, from 8 to 26.

After Microsoft it was Electronic Arts (EA’s) turn and they surprised me a lot this year, normally they only have shitty games or some poor follow-up to some other crappy backassed game which doesn’t deserve to be sold for anything. After the boring shit was done with (EA Girls & EA Sports) the other develoeprs and partner studios could get on the scene and show their awesomeness. The following games are MUST-HAVE games which looks extremely awesome; The Saboteour, Brutal Legend, Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMO), Crysis 2 (holy shit I want this game!), alos, Crytek surprised with their CryEngine 3 announcement, a friend and I were sitting on MSN watching and was hoping they would announce Crysis 2, and when the guy at the scene mentioned it we orgasmed, LITERALLY!

I didn’t watch the Ubisoft and Nintendo press conferences so I can’t say much there, except that Nintendo apparently is just making a new Mario game and a new Metroid game, oh, and alongside yet another Zelda game *Yawn.* Assassins Creed 2 looks interesting and is probably worth a try when it is released.

At last it was the Sony press conference, I didn’t watch everything but they seem to have new stuff up their sleeves, but first I gonna tell you what new games are coming for the Sony PS3 and PSP. On the PSP we will be getting a Metal Gear Solid game and some other games which I probably missed, on the PS3 we will also get a MGS game alongside the following; Modnation Racer, seriously, that game looks so awesome it almost made me want to buy a PS3, it’s like LittleBigPlanet but as the game title says, this time you will be racing, you can make maps like on LittleBigPlanet…etc and have fun on them with other players! You can custom make your characters and cars, get them rated and even let others re-customize them, this also counts for your map by the way. God of War 3 is coming too and The Last Guardian. Sony also showed us a prototype of their new motion sensor controller which seemed quite fun to use actually, too bad we couldn’t see it used in a real game but what I saw from the demo it looked worthy enough to be showed on E3! Oh and I have one last thing to tell you Final Fantasy fans, they are releasing Final Fantasy XIV Online for the PS3, I hear rumors about it coming to PC too but don’t take my words for it.

Well, that’s what I had to say about E3 and the different press conferences. Why there are no videos or images you say? Because I didn’t want to clutter up my blog with them.

Woah…Woah…WOAH! I actually forgot the other days of E3 and such, I have though not been actively following the other days after the first two and the press conferences so can’t trust me on all this, but I’ve heard about some new games coming out and such which might be interesting, for example, for all of you zombie fans we have Left 4 Dead 2 which brings us down south in the United States…The AI Director v1.0 have also been upgraded to v2.0 which means it also will be able to render blockades and such in maps and the weather, so we will be seeing zombies in full daylight now, while in L4D all missions were done during the night. There will also be more co-op missions and the Survivor modification will come straight out of the box instead of VALVE making an ‘expansion’ to add it.

Ok, so now that I am a poor little bitch with less to no money left in my wallet (except some bucks in my bank) I’ll have to throw in the towel and not buy any figurines or merchandise for a while, I need to find myself a job or something because that would help a lot, hehe.

But first I wanna show of the figurines I bought before I went out of money, I posted about the Reimu mini-figurine earlier but I also ordered 4 Lucky Star ones which I actually just ordered to sell in Norway. Oh yea, and lets not forget about the cute Kuro-Chan figurine from the anime Kodomo no Jikan.

Though, I also figured, since I want to learn Japanese, why not make it a bit harder for myself and force myself into learning ? So when I uninstalled the Windows 7 Beta to install the RC I decided to install the Japanese version of Windows 7 RC, followed by installing Windows Live, Skype and STEAM in Japanese (which also makes all games downloaded and installed from STEAM Japanese too o.o). Just booting up ma system to some awesome Japanese kanji, hiragana and katakana eh?

Go Norway and congratulations with winning Eurovision 2009! It’s gonna be fun to see our country host Eurovision 2010 and hopefully we will make it even better than how the Russians did it this year!  Rybak also managed to break the old record of having the most points (291) with his epicly 387 points! So we actually broke two-in-one as we won and we broke the record, what a great start on the 17th of May.

However, there were one bad point which seems to have been noticed by most of Norway and they show it strongly, and that is the Norwegian commentrator Synnøve Svabø who kept talking during the point giving (in the lack of a better word). She wouldn’t stop talking about herself or the prime minister, Jens Stoltenberg, and she started doing interviews and talking with people on the phone in the middle of the show. She did have a few good points with the funny comments during the show but some of the stuff she said had been better off not being said.

Also, I would like to say Happy Birthday to all Norwegians and hope you’re having a great Constitution Day :3 Hot dogs and ice cream is needed guys, too bad the stores are closed or else I’d get some too. Instead I am sitting here writing this blog and listening to my normal Japanese music. (Note: I am Norwegian, I live in Norway, I celebrate 17th of May…So don’t start wondering now.)

Well, as we’re closing in on the new vBulletin board for MikuMusic what new features do you think we should add? I’ve already made a post on the forum where I have written down all changes and such which will be done after installing vBulletin, but I don’t want it to be only us who are deciding what to add/change…etc on the forum, so bring your own suggestions and ideas!

We currently have $156.07 out of the $180 we need for vBulletin so we’re getting quite close to upgrading our forums, after installing vBulletin we will also install some modifications and plug-ins which can make the forum experience lots better than what it is right now when we’re using phpBB3, mostly because phpBB3 got a bitch system to add modifications and plug-ins to the forum to make it better.

I was at something called Final Fantasy Reunion last Saturday in Oslo, and damn well I had fun there, only bad part during the whole thing was that it took 20 minutes to find the location of where it was being held, mostly because I live out in the country and Oslo is a big city, nor have I been there so many times that I know every area of it.

Also, yesterday I bought myself an iPod Touch 16GB which I am currently using to listen at music when sitting by the PC, don’t ask why, but I just prefer plugging in my head headphones to my iPod rather than my PC.

I would love to put up images and photos from the Final Fantasy Reunion but I didn’t take any, mostly due to myself not having a camera available during it, but you can go to Japani.no and look through the photos on the Final Fantasy Treff group.

I met many funny people there though which I hope I will meet again sometime :P
