And as promised, yet again we change our name, first it was from Firestorm Entertainment to Mahou Entertainment, but Wkter didn’t like Mahou Entertainment so now we are changing our name to Frozen Flower Entertainment. Considering we got a project called Project Frozen Flower we both agreed that this would fit better.

So, for the last time now, we have changed to Frozen Flower Entertainment. We will set up a website soon at ff-entertainment.com (we must buy the domain first and such).

Oh yes it’s snowing, snowing so much I start to get tired of it. It started on Saturday and it’s been snowing pretty much every day since that. I don’t want more snow! Snow was fun when I was younger and played around outside in it, but now that I am older snow isn’t really fun anymore.

For fun, here is an image I took out of my window!

I’ve started working on my project in Media & Communication now, which is to make an AMV (Anime Music Video), I’m not good with Adobe Premiere so this is gonna be quite interesting on how it will end up. I hopefully will learn more about Premiere and effects while doing this project.

Also, work have been started with the Danmaku game I and Wkter are going to make, hopefully we will have it done in a few months, but that depends on how much C++ we learn and manage to do.

As you know we have also changed the name from Firestorm Entertainment to Mahou Entertainment, nothing more than that to say.

I and Wkter have decided to devote our lives into the world of C++, yes, we are going to program and script our own Game Engine specified to run a Danmaku style of game, now, you probably wonder what a Danmaku game is so I will explain to you:

Danmaku is known in English as ‘Bullet Hell’ considering the amount of bullets the enemies are firing at your ass, this is actually a sub-genre of the Shoot’Em Up genre which got games like Space Invaders and such alike. One of the more popular Danmaku games are the Touhou series made by ZUN, and he’s pretty good at it too considering he makes them all alone, this including the programming, music and graphics in the game. We wont do like ZUN though as we will have our own team on this Danmaku project, but we still need to name it, do you got a suggestion for a name? If you do, then why not post a comment and tell us about it? Later on I will make a poll where you can vote for the name you like, well, it will either be a poll or me and Wkter deciding which name is the best.

And as said so will this game be built in our own engine, we have set a deadline date somewhere in October, when the Norwegian anime convention Desucon is. When we got a beta build of the game finished I will add it as a download to my site, or if we decide on it choose a couple of testers who can give us feedback before we release the real game, this is also rather exciting for us because none of us know C++, Wkter knows some Actionscript and he first wanted to make the game in Flash, so after some arguing we (more like I) decided that we should make our own engine. I hope you’ll be looking forward for it!

Also, I said this will be a Team Project so we are looking for people who wants to help out, we need graphic designers and maybe another person who knows C++ who can teach me and Wkter more about it!
